The candidate nomination period for the Student Union of Kaakko’s representative council elections has ended. The central election committee confirmed the candidates, electoral alliances, and formed electoral coalitions in its meeting on October 2nd.
A total of 33 candidates will be running in the elections, from which 20 regular members and alternate members will be elected to the representative council for the year 2025. The representative council holds the highest decision-making power within the student union.
The campaign period for candidates begins on Friday, October 4, following the announcement of the candidates.
Early voting starts on Monday, October 28, at 8:00 AM. Voting ends on the official election day, November 6, at 3:00 PM. After this, the central election committee will confirm the election results. The results will be published on November 7, 2024.
