Student Union Kaakko soon turns 8 years – join us in celebrations!

The year was 2017 when Mikkeli and Kymenlaakso Universities of Applied Sciences joined together and formed the South-Eastern University of Applied Sciences. A bit before the new UAS was opened a new student union was born, that merged the students from Kymenlaakso and Southern Savonia. On the 22^nd of December in 2016 the Student Union Kaakko was founded and even on this day it works as the trustee of all students at Xamk.

Student Union Kaakko will soon grow a bit older, as it turns 8 years. Celebrations will be held on the 9^th of November in Kotka to honor Kaakko. Celebrations include a traditional annual gala where every member of Kaakko and all of Xamk’s students are warmly welcome to join!

WHAT? Student Union Kaakko 8 yrs annual gala + Silliaamiainen, Sillis (aka herring breakfast, which actually does not include herring).

WHERE? In Kotka, at Hotel Seurahuone.

WHEN? On Saturday 9^th of November at 5 PM / On Sunday 10^th of November at 11 AM.

DRESS CODE? Black tie, evening gown.

TICKETS? Kaakko member 65€, non-member 80€; tickets include the evening party and the Sunday’s silliaamiainen. Tickets are sold on Kide.app – link in bio! Buy yours before the 15^th of October.
